Q. When do lessons begin?
A. Select individual programs from the
menu to see times.
Q. How much time should
I allow before class each week to get my tickets and rentals?
A. It takes about 30 minutes to get your tickets & rentals
and then "gear up." If you are bringing children for
the Ski Tykes Program the tickets are not available until 30 minutes
prior to class time.
Q. Do I have to take the
7 lessons on 7 consecutive weeks?
A. YES. Our program has only one 7 week session per year. (See below, "What
if I miss a class?" ).
Q. Do I have to come on the same day and at the
same time every week?
A. YES. We try to keep the size of
the classes consistent; in order to program for this, we
need to know how many people are scheduled for each class
session. (See below, "What if I miss a class?" ).
Q. What are the respective benefits of private
lessons or group lessons?
A. In group lessons a synergy develops
among the individuals, and many people learn better in this
environment; you get the benefit of everything the instructor
says to all the individuals, as well as the fun of energetic
interaction. Private lessons can be beneficial because of
the individually directed focus. ALL lessons are most effective
when the student takes time to "get mileage", or
practice between lessons.
Q. How do I know
what class to sign up for?
A. On the first day of lessons, all students will be evaluated to be certain
of their abilities. Viewing
the illustrations in our Test Yourself section
can approximate your ability.
Q. What if I become ill
or have an accident halfway through the program?
A. Withdrawal requests will be honored with a prorated refund based on the
number of lessons left in the session.
Q. What
if I miss a class due to illness or schedule conflict?
A. You are allowed one make-up lesson during the 7 weeks. Please
call the ski school office or come to the ski school desk to schedule your
make-up lesson.
