Ski Stars Group Lessons During the President's Week Vacation, February 16 - February 20, Schenectady Ski School at Maple Ski Ridge offers a 5-day program of group ski lessons in the morning. Ages 6 and 7 are either just beginning to ski, or have come out of the Tykes program and need refreshers on some basics. They pursue the instructors around traffic cones, handle a "Magic Stick", and have conversations with Lucy, Linus, Snoopy and Charlie Brown. These children have 4 hours on snow, 1.5 of which is in class. If your child is already turning, even slightly, he or she will probably be bored in the Ski Stars Program.
